A Tisket . . A Tasket ... Easter Basket Card

This card is on a purple card stock base. The berry card stock is from Close To My Heart. The embossed white/GP is from Georgia Pacific. Used the Darice Easter Egg embossing folder on the embossed white background -- again here is this folder to show the design is directional:

But I decided to use it sideways on this card anyways as the stamped image I was using was large enough to cover the embossed piece so it should not be noticeable. Whenever I emboss card stock I always use two pieces of card stock as this gives it a softer embossed design and it also prevents the card stock from having rips or tears from the embossed pattern. This embossed white card stock background was the 2nd piece from embossing the background on the next post below.

For the stamped image that is a stamp from Whipper Snapper and I stamped that onto white/GP using StazOn black ink. Used coloured pencils for the image:

Cut it out using Spellbinders Oval die set. Then used a piece of purple card stock and used the Lacey Ovals die to cut that out. Put that piece behind the stamped basket image:

Cut and scored the purple card stock base. Cut the berry card stock to the size I wanted for the card front. Then cut the embossed white/GP card stock to fit on the berry piece. Put those together using the ATG. Then put them on the purple card stock base. Put the ovals/stamped image piece on the card front using pop dots for dimension. Here is a better photo of the basket image and it shows the embossed piece behind it:

Another look to the embossed background using the same folder as the Acrylic Distressed Technique in the next post. TFL and YOLO
