Ashley Birthday Card


Card stock base is a maroon and the front piece is Crumb Cake. The floral printed card stock is from Laura Ashley. Used a doily from the dollar store and coloured that using distressed inks and an applicator. Used the scallop circle die by Spellbinders for the maroon circle on the card front. The greeting on the front of the card is a stamp by Verses Rubber Stamps. Stamped that onto a cream card stock and cut it out using a Spellbinders circle die.

For the flowers I layered those using glue dots and then added a pearl to the front of each flower. For the scroll/swirl pieces I used a Sizzix die. The sprigs were punched out using a punch by M Stewart. The small butterfly is also a M Stewart punch. The scalloped piece across the card front was made using a Fiskars border punch.

The printed card stock also has a linen look to it which adds another layer of interest to the card front and here is a closer photo showing some of the card detail -- TFL and YOLO:

Wow, this is a gorgeous card Candee! I love the pretty purple color and those flowers and mats are amazing. Hugs, Brenda
