Mummy Roll Treat Holder

Had just seen this done on:  www.ashleycreativestudio.com so I had to make one up. It is a a toilet paper roll wrapped with white card stock and then sponged strips wrapped around it.

I cut a piece of white/GP card stock 4 1/8" x 6" (approx) and wrapped this around the toilet paper roll. Then tore strips of white/GP card stock using a wavy edged ruler. Sponged the edges with brown card stock and used the ATG to put the strips around the roll. Added two wiggle eyes and the mummy came to life. Using a strip of 1/2" x 5 1/2" approx brown card stock I made the handle for the holder. I used a small circle punch on each side of the mummy and used a brad in each hole to hold the handle on the holder.

I used TomBow glue and glued a 2" scalloped circle to the bottom of the holder. Used white paper shred from the dollar store inside the mummy and put Reese's mini peanut butter cups on that. Easy holder to make and is cute since it is free standing. Good for office treats or kids party favors. Thanks to Ashley for sharing this idea. Another cute Halloween treat holder to make.
