Distressed Birthday Card
Card stock base is a rust and a coral piece for the card front. The floral print card stock piece is from a 6 x 6 card stock pad from American Crafts.
Cut and score the rust card stock base. Cut the coral piece to the size I needed for the card front. For the floral piece I cut that to the size I wanted and then used a distressing tool on all the edges. Then sponged the edges with a rust ink. Used the ATG and put the floral piece onto the coral piece and then put them onto the card stock base.
For the butterflies I used the detailed M Stewart butterfly punch and punched a butterfly out of the rust card stock. Then used a smaller butterfly punch from M Stewart for the coral butterfly. Then for the center of the butterfly I used the Owl Builder punch from Stampin Up and punched out a heart from rust card stock. Put the butterfly layers and heart together using mini glue dots. Added a small white pearl to the center:
The greeting "Happy Birthday" is a stamp from Paper Sweeties. Stamped it onto white card stock and layered that onto a piece of rust card stock. Used a square punch to make the banner ends. Put the butterfly piece onto the greeting piece and put it on the card front. TFL and YOLO
