Road trip to the Scrap Exchange

Have been to the Scrap Exchange before in Durham, NC and we had not gone in awhile so after work today we went. The Scrap Exchange has pretty much everything -- it is a recycling store for magazines, books, yarns, fabrics, bottles/jars, office/desk supplies, old windows, plumbing and electrical parts and tools, ribbons, patterns, rubber stamps, Sizzix dies, etc. Whatever is donated is what they sell. So with each visit you never know what you will find ---

Today I found a treasure trove of craft room stuffs. . . First I found two clear acrylic desktop magazine holders for 50 cents each -- one for my new card making magazines and the other for my CTMH and Stampin Up catalogs. Then I found these items and in advance I apologize about the photos:

Sizzix dies: $5 each:

Three tags and also a jar and top:

Then a Stampin Up scalloped square punch for $3:

Then a Triplits set from Sizzix for $2.00:

With one of the Iris 12 x 12 plastic boxes for $2.00:

Also -- not a photo of -- but one of the larger clear apothecary jars (like from the old candy stores) with a lid which I will use for ribbons on the work counter in the craft room.

DH was happy as he found some plumbing PVC pipes he can use for the house so we left there both happy. So you never know what you will find behind the doors at the Scrap Exchange.... TFL and YOLO
