Thanksgiving Mailmain

Hoping everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and a safe travels if traveling.

This post shows two Thanksgiving cards I received from other card makers that the Thanksgiving Mailman delivered to me -- Happy me to be on their mailing lists!

This first card is by Mary H at  carolinacardsbymaryh.blogspot.com.  Mary does magic with her Copic markers and this card shows this talent well:

Her talents give this card front a lot of dimension and depth -- Mary also brings her talent to the inside of her cards as well --

Her card insert has the leaf motif at the top as well as the bottom of the insert. Mary's cards are detailed both inside and out. Brings her Fall motif from the front of her card to the inside beautifully.

This next card is from Lynda P and her blog is:  paperartscafe.blogspot.com and Lynda not only is a card maker but she also does Mixed Media and the like. Her holiday card has a rustic feel, but not short on details:

From her stamped/sponged background with the greeting stamped on the card front to the strip of burlap this card is dimensional. Lynda also carries her theme to the inside of her card:

More of the burlap and layers on the inside of the card above her stamped greeting. Nice that Lynda also includes leaves on her holiday card. Many times Thanksgiving cards have turkeys all over them. It is nice both card makers used leaves on their holiday cards and in such different ways.

Happy me to be on the mailing list of two very talented card makers!  TFL and YOLO

Very clever of you to use the cutout waste strips as you did. Another very pretty & crafty card with the smaller punkins to brighten up the neutral embossing on this card. Also love the card Linda sent to you. Thanks for sharing her link...I'll check it out! Hugs & have a good week. Chilly & drizzling here.
