Shoe Box Swap

Went to Shoe Box Swap at Brenda Cook's in Tarboro, NC on Saturday. Most of these ladies had never heard of a Shoe Box Swap so once I explained it to them we all decided our next card making session would be a Swap and so it was. . . .   Here are the cards we made ---

This card we used a stamp set that had matching dies. I left the card front blank so I can stamp any greeting on it that I want.

A simple gate fold card but the bright circles make it a fun card.

The above card uses all Close To My Heart products with the matching Cricut program. The sequin on the card is sold with adhesive already on it -- brainstorm!

Nice card layout -- we stamped it for Sympathy but it could be used for an occasion.

This card was by Brenda -- we used stamps for the background on the green card stock base as well as the yellow/flowers piece behind the chick. The chick was "fussy cut" and we used pop dots for him on the card front.

Another card using dies -- also embossed the brown card stock piece used a dotted embossing folder.

Nice layout and layers on this card. The camera did not capture the shimmer of the gold twine and gold sequins.

My project was for an Easter basket "tuck in" card - and the bunny can also be used for the fronts of treat holders:

GREAT ideas and great company --- another fun class at Brenda's and a BIG thank you to Brenda for opening her house to us for these classes. TFL and YOLO
