Layered Halloween Card

Card is on a card stock base of black #110 weight card stock from Mikes. Gray card stock front is gray kraft card stock from Mikes. Printed word card stock is from Hobby Lobby. Cut the printed word card stock out using a die from Sizzix.

Cut and scored the black card stock base. Used a bone folder to crease the fold. Cut the gray card stock to the size needed for the card front. Using part of a stamp from the Stampin Up stamp set Web Wishes I stamped "Happy Halloween" on the lower right front of the card using black Memento ink. Sponged black in on all the edges of this piece. Using the ATG I put this piece onto the black card stock base.

Cut out the ghosts using white glittered card stock:

Set the ghosts aside. Sponged black ink on the edges of the printed word card stock. Put that piece onto the gray card front using the ATG. For the orange spider web print -- this is a shelf strip from the candy aisle from Walgreens -- I was at the store the day they took their Halloween displays down and the clerk had a pile of these spider web strips on her cart. I asked if I could have them and she handed me a handful of strips.

I trimmed the spider web strip to the size I needed and then sponged the edges with black ink. Put this on the left front of the card using the ATG:

Cut a black spider web out using a Sizzix die and put that onto the spider web strip using a glue pen. Using "trick or treat" ribbon I cut two pieces for the card front -- one piece at the top of the card and the second piece on the spider web strip. Put the ribbon on the card front using red sticky tape.

Ghosts are on the card front using glue dots. The spider on the card front was made using a punch from the dollar bin and punching the spider out of flocked black card stock. Put him on the card front using a mini glue dot. TFL and YOLO
