Another Saturday Stampers Sale

Busy morning for my PIC (stamping partner in crime) and myself. Left the house early for another Saturday stampers sale. This was a small sale held by just a few stampers selling no longer used items from their craft rooms -- but you never know what you will find.... Left the house with my list of four items I wanted to look for and came home with:

Stampin Up stamp set "A Little Something" for $8.00. Then found this Easter stamp set from 1991 in mint condition -- thinking it was also $8.00 -- "Easter Basket Set":

and the stamps:

The plastic box it was in is the older kind that SU used to put their stamps in. It is hard to open and too big for the stamp set so the stamps can easily move around in that box. When I came home I emptied out a medium SU clam shell box I had bling stored in and put this Easter set in that. It is is great condition considering it is from 1991... plus the newer clam shell box is easier to open and the stamps will stay flat.

Bought more washi tape -- brand new and never opened -- for $1.50:

and a photo of the tape patterns:

Also picked up one of the white IRIS containers that holds 12 x 12 card stocks for $1.00 and that is in great shape.

Another crafter had a big box on the floor and that was full of SU Paper Pumpkin kits new and she was selling them for $10.00 per box.... Loving Halloween (BOO Day) as I do.... it only figured I would pick this one Paper Pumpkin kit:

Then I saw a box that had clear boxes filled with Stamps Of Life stamps/die sets by Stephanie Bernard. I bought a cute summer/watermelon set never used for $8.00:

So although I did not get anything on my list -- Stampin Up Only Orange 8 1/2 x 11 sealed card stock, Really Rust re inker, the SU large alpha dies, or the Festive Flower Builder punch,...  I still did not leave disappointed. Always nice to be able to pick up stamping items in great shape at great prices and will always have room in the craft room (AKA the warehouse as DH calls it) for new-to-me stamping items...

After we stopped at the sale we stopped at Mikes and then AC Moore across the street. I am happy to see that AC Moore is re-setting the whole store and I was happy to find new products in their scrapbooking/papercrafts department. It just seemed for the longest time AC Moore did not get any of the newer papercraft items in stock. So a good morning for two happy stampers!!

Good to know you & PIC found some goodies at the sale. Looks like you got some good deals, too, even if you didn't find your list items. Wish our ACM would restock /reset the store. I used to go regularly, now mainly go to look for mixed media art supplies. Mike's is about the same way. Hobby Lobby is far outpacing both of these stores, with keeping current. H/L seems to be 'smalling down' their card making supplies though. Very little THoltz stuff. Good that you & D. had fun, and hey, you can never have too many items in the warehouse! TFS
