Merry Christmas Card

Had seen this done in the new copy of Papercrafts Magazine. They have a pattern inside for the people and I adapted that so I could use more of my own punches. I used the Lacy Circle Spellbinders die for the Lacy Circle behind the people. Punches were used for the star, the lamb, etc.. Used a Woodgrain embossing folder from PaperStudio from Hobby Lobby for the pedestal and cradle piece. Cut that out with scissors. Used SU Close to Cocoa ink to sponge that. The star punch is from SU and the sheep was made with a small scallop circle punch from EK Success. Used a stamp by Stamps by Impressions for the "Merry Christmas" and I used SU Basic Brown ink for that. This card is made with paper piecing but it is very simple --- I put the people together, the baby in the cradle, the lamb together and then cut out the Spellbinders die piece. Once everything is put together you can add them to the card front and it goes together quickly. Just thought they were too cute not to make them up. TFL  *** Just put a post on the blog explaining this card in details -- it is Merry Christmas Card explained.

Indeed this is a cute one. Very clever of you to be able to adapt to your design and make such a great card.

I love this card. Would you consider a picture tutorial on how to make and assemble the figures. Absolutely fabulous.
