For this card I used the Sizzix Square Flip-Its die set:
I also have the Circle Flip-Its as well as the Labels Flip-Its die sets and these die sets are all very nice and a good deal for the price --- each set has 9 or 10 dies per set and if you can use a coupon to buy them you are doing even better -- here are other cards I made using these dies:
the above card is the Circle Flip-Its die set and here is the Label Flip-Its die card:
For the BOO card I used a card stock base of black and two Halloween prints for the front of the card and the inside. Used orange card stock for the squares behind the "b o o". I stamped the "b o o" on white/GP card stock using StazOn black ink and used an alphabet stamp set by Rubber Stampede that was in a lot of stamps I just bought on Craigs List. Cut the letters out using the stitched square die in the die set using the Cuttlebug machine. Here is a better photo of the letters and ghosts:
The three ghosts were cut out using the Trio Ghosts die from Impression Obsession and I used white glitter card stock from Hobby Lobby for those. Put the ghosts on the card using glue dots.
These dies have everything you need to decorate your Flip-It cards and they always do a great job of cutting the card stock base as well as all the smaller pieces. These Sizzix dies are probably the most economical on the market -- they retail for $29.99 but with coupons or sales you pay far less for them. The similar dies that Stampin Up sells are $32.95 and you get no coupon or sale. More and more of the stores are carrying the Sizzix Flip It dies --- I have seen them at Hobby Lobby, Joanns, (as well as Joann.com), Mikes and other online retailers. So if you are looking to buy a set shop around for the best deal --- it will be worth it. TFL and YOLO
