Sometimes you do not want to make a tag or maybe make a full sized card so here are three 3 x 3 cards I made using various supplies on hand.
First all the 3 x 3 cards are made with a card stock base cut 3" wide x 6" long and scored at 3". For the Pine Cone card I used a card stock base of olive green with brown kraft card stock from Mikes. The front is a piece of cream card stock and I used a stamp from Great Impressions for that. Used markers for the stamp and the huff method. Added gold twine bows to that. Used a gel pen on the pine cones:
Second card is a stamp from Hero Arts from 1992. Stamped that using StazOn black ink and markers for that. Again card stock base is a 3 x 6 piece and I used red for that with a green piece for the front. The white is GP. Added red ribbon from the stash:
While I had that stamp out I also stamped another piece and used a Spellbinders tag die to cut that out for a tag:
This last 3 x 3 card is on a 3 x 6 card stock base of red with black from Mikes and the white is GP. I used a stamp set from There She Goes Stamps for my Santa and the greeting "ho ho ho". Used StazOn black ink to stamp Santa on the white and used markers for his coat, gloves, boots, and jacket. Used a blush marker for his skin/face. Added glitter to his hat and coat using a glue pen. Added the "ho ho ho" banner with glue dots and added red crystals to that:
The 3 x 3 cards go together quickly and are fun to make. You can use scraps up or maybe use a stamp that is too small for a regular sized card front -- good to make instead of a tag if you want to tuck in a mini card with your gifts. TFL and YOLO
