Close To My Heart Card Class

Two great cards taught by a Close To My Heart consultant -- First is a masculine card she had us make:

Stamps, card stock, sequins and twine all Close To My Heart products. Card stock base is CTMH white card stock and prints are also CTMH. Nice layout having the printed card stocks on the edges of the card front base. We used scissors to make our banner ends. Added the sequins using glue dots. The greeting piece is on the card front using pop dots for dimension. Added a piece of twine in a knot below the greeting piece. The stamp is from the CTMH stamp set Finding the Words D1646 and you have a lot of options with that stamp set. Nice looking masculine card with lots of dimension on it.

This second card is for Easter:

Card stock base is white and double sided card stock was used for the front of this card and the opposite side of the green is the print. The pattern of this print almost looks like Easter eggs and the colours are perfect for Easter and it is called Kaleidoscope. .

She had us use a basket die to cut out the basket. Before we removed the die cut basket from the die we used a brown marker for the lines on the basket and a purple marker to colour the bow. ALSO the coloured eggs are actually made using a mini balloon punch -- how clever is that?????? :0) The basket is on a piece of white card stock that we used a corner rounder punch on. The basket with bow is on the card front using pop dots for dimension.

Another cute card for Easter --- nice detail using the markers on the die piece while it was still in the die and clever use for a mini balloon punch for the eggs. Thanks to Donna for two cute cards and for taking the time to show us how these are made. TFL and YOLO

Cute cards and sounds like a really fun class. I'm so glad you have this available to you. Great way to meet other like-minded card makers. TFS
