Fall Leaves Card

Card stock base is SU Old Olive scored at the top. Used white/GP for the white piece on the card front and the checked card stock is from the stash by BoBunny.

The leaves piece was made using the new release Blowing Leaves Square from Franticstamper.com. I used distressed inks on white/GP in fall colours and cut the leaves pieces in the Big Shot:

Once cut I cut a piece of Bazzill vellum to put behind the leaves piece. Used clear TomBow glue to put them together. Set that aside to dry:

Used the ATG and put the checked card stock onto the white card stock and then put these onto the green card stock base. Set that aside. Using bronze foil card stock backed with Stick It paper from Ken Oliver I cut out "FALL" using a set of alphabet dies that are small. Cut a scrap piece of white/GP for the banner and used the SU banner punch on the one end. Put the letters onto the banner piece. Set that aside:

With the leaves piece dried (did not take long) I cut a piece of white/GP card stock a bit bigger than the die cut leaves piece. Used the clear TomBow glue and put the leaves piece onto the white card stock piece. Added a piece of white craft foam behind the leaves piece using double sided tape for dimension. Positioned the leaves and FALL pieces on the card front and adhered them to the card front using double sided tape. Die cut a small bow from the bronze foil card stock and put this on a scrap distress ink die cut leaf from another fall card I had made. Added a brown crystal from the stash to the center of the bow. Put the leaf in the lower right corner of the framed leaves piece using micro mini glue dots:

Easy card to put together and each distressed ink project turns out differently. Soon enough we will be in the Fall season and cooler temps. TFL

  1. What a great die for fall, Candee! I love the sponged colors and that special little leaf added to the frame!
