Fun Size Jar of Haunts Holder

Had seen this project on Pinterest but could not find a link to her post. Her blog is:  www.lynnslocker.blogspot.com and this project she posted in mid November, 2016. It is another treat holder using the Stampin Up Jar of Haunts stamp set and the Stampin Up Everyday Jars die set. She also used the Spooky Fun stamp set and the Halloween Scenes matching die set. For my project I used a mini ghost die from Art-O, a BOO stamp from a Close To My Heart October stamp set, and a leaves die from the stash. This is a free standing treat holder for Halloween:

Lynn has the pattern for the box that fits behind the jar front. It is an economical treat holder too as you can cut out two box pieces and four jar pieces from one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. This box can hold candy snacks but in my holders I put two Fun Size candy bars:

Here is the holder with the empty box to show the size:

For my holder I followed Lynn's pattern but decorated my treat holders a little differently. For each of my jar fronts I used Stampin Up background stamps that I inked with Pumpkin Pie ink and I laid the die cut jar pieces onto the background stamps, rubbing with my fingers to transfer the inked pattern to my die cut jars. This photo show two of the holders showing the background pattern on them:

The jar on the left I stamped with the Petite Print background stamp and the right jar I used the Weathered background stamp on. Here are the other two holders:

The jar front on the left has the Linen background stamp pattern and the jar on the right has the Petite Print background stamp.  Used the pumpkin face stamp from the Stampin Up Jar of Haunts stamp set onto the jar fronts using black ink. Went over that using clear Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.

With the jar fronts all stamped I used the fence die from the Halloween Scenes die set and cut out two fence pieces using black card stock. Used scissors to cut those to the size I needed for the fence pieces. Die cut the mini ghost die from scrap white/GP card stock. Stamped their faces on them using the black ink. Also die cut the stamped small pumpkins from Spooky Fun and I used scissors to cut off the largest pumpkin off the other two pumpkins piece. Used a glue pen to put the fence pieces onto the bottom of the jar pieces. Used micro mini glue dots to add the ghosts. Did not want to use a pop dot for the cut pumpkin so I stacked two glue dots behind the pumpkin and put that in front of the fence piece.

For the "BOO" I used scrap white/GP and I stamped it with black ink. This is from the month of October stamp set from Close To My Heart. Punched that out using the Stampin Up Classic Label punch. Set that aside. Using a leaves die from my stash I cut out four pieces from scrap green card stock for the leaves. Snipped these leaf die cut pieces to having just two leaves and sponged the edges using the Stampin Up Old Olive ink. Using scrap gray card stock I stamped four jar lids using the lid stamp from the Stampin Up Jars of Love stamp set. Die cut those out and put them on the top of the jar fronts using the ATG. Added orange and black twine tied in a bow. Used glue dots and put the leaves on the jar top. Tucked "BOO" under the leaf with a mini glue dot. Used an EK Succes multi bat punch for the bats and put one bat on one leaf on all the jars using micro mini glue dots.

This is a cute treat holder and thanks to Lynn for sharing her idea/pattern. Here is a photo to show the size of this treat holder in comparison to the other Jar of Haunts treat holder I recently made that holds two Hershey Nugget Candies:
