Recently The Greetery sent out an email that they were having a sale to help fund the recovery of their small town from a flood due to weather. With every purchase they would give money to this fund to help their town with the recovery. I order their die set BontaniCuts Toadstool Garden die set and here is the card I made:
My card stock base is Kraft, cut and scored at the top. Used cream card stock and die cut the cover plate Cross Stitched from PaperTreyInk for the card front. Used liquid glue and added that to the kraft card stock base.
Die cut all the mushroom pieces in the die set from cream card stock. Ink blended these pieces to add the colour. Used the greenery and single mushroom die pieces from the PaperTreyInk Into the Blooms:Mushroom Die set to add to my mushroom focal piece. The base of this focal piece is a rectangle cream card stock that I cut out using rectangle dies from the stash. I used that same rectangle die set to cut out the blue frame for the card front. Used liquid glue to add the blue frame to the cream base. Used a grass die from the stash and scrap green card stock to cut out the grass piece. Used liquid glue to add the greenery, grass and mushrooms to the framed piece. Here is a closer photo of this piece:
Added blue crystals from the stash to add sparkle to the card front. The greeting "Blessings" is from a Trinity Stamps stamp set and I stamped that with rust ink and used a banner die set from Pink and Main to cut that out. Used foam tape to raise the rectangle focal piece up on the card front.
The nice thing about the PaperTreyInk Cross Stitched cover plate die is you can see the coloured card stock base through the lines that this die cuts in the card stock. Also this mushroom die set from The Greetery die cuts all the circles for detail on your mushroom tops so this is an easy card to assemble. Another fun mushroom card to put together.
