Gingerbread Embellishments

Made up some of the KSCrafts Gingerbread embellishments with their Gingerbread die set that I had bought off of Amazon earlier this year. This die set makes a small and a larger Gingerbread. Here is a photo to show the ones I have made so far:

The top photo shows the larger size and the bottom photo shows the smaller size. Here is a photo to show them next to other to see the size difference:

I was able to use scrap printed card stocks for the bows. To make these I die cut all the bodies out of kraft card stock and then cut them out of thin card board to put behind them to make them sturdy. I used a glue stick to put the kraft card stock onto the card board. The die set comes with a face die so you can die cut the gingerbread out and then put the face die on that to cut out the face. Since I was making multiples of these I decided to cut the size face dies out of scrap white card stock and those were my templates to place the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth on the faces:

With the face templates die cut I then cut out all the face dies using a brown card stock in both sizes. I placed the templates over the face area and used liquid glue to put all face pieces on. The smaller die set has two circle pieces for the pink cheeks which I die cut out of pink card stock and I used these circles on the larger faces but I thought they were too big for the smaller face. So I used the face die for the larger gingerbread man and I used pink card stock behind the eyes and cut out the eyes in the pink card stock and those fit as the cheeks on the smaller gingerbread man:

For the icing squiggles on the arms and head I used cream card stock to match some of the printed card stock bows and white for the other bows. I put the squiggles onto the gingerbread using liquid glue and once dried I used Diamond Stickles on those to add some sparkle. Added small sparkly red pom poms to the center of the larger bows and gems to the center of the smaller bows. Put all the bows on the gingerbread using Tear and Tape. 

These embellishments were easy to make since I made them assembly style and the thinner card board as the base makes them sturdy. I decided to add them to the front of the Ferrero Rocher and Lindor candy wreaths I had made yesterday for decoration:
