Card is on light turquoise card stock from the stash. The darker paper is Tempting Turquoise card stock from Stampin Up. Used that same color ink for the greeting. "let it snow" is a stamp from a stamp lot that I just got on Craigs List. Used the snowflake peg stamp by "Stamps by Judith". Used white ink from ColorBox for that stamp and randomly stamped it onto the dark paper. Used Spellbinders Labels 8 to cut that out. Then I scored and folded the lighter paper and again used the Labels 8 dies and cut that out. Used Dazzling Diamonds on the 'snowflakes' for shimmer. The snowman is from the Sizzix die "Snowman #2" and I just got that at Joann Fabrics on Black Friday. I used textured white card stock from Stampin Up for him. The rest of the papers I used for him are from scraps. The greeting tag was made using the Stampin Up large and small tag punches. Ribbon is from the stash. Used pop dots behind the snowman and the tag for dimension. Then I ran a thin line of the Dazzling Diamonds on the bottom edge of the snowman. Easy card--but it is mostly paper piecing.

Used red card stock for the card---used 8 1/2 by 11 paper and cut it in half lengthwise so was able to make two cards from the one piece of paper. Used a corner rounder punch--that I just got off of Craigs List for the lower corners as well as the upper corners. The green paper is from a pack of paper by My Mind's Eye and again I used the corner rounder on that paper. For the greeting I used a holiday stamp from Craigs List and I used "Ink it Up" green ink for that. Punched it out with a punch from Stampin Up. Pop dots are behind the greeting for dimension. For the wreath I used paper from Graphic 45. I used the Stampin Up Butterfly punch and I punched out 12 butterflies and folded them and layered them---***Next post is the pattern for this wreath*** I then added small red crystals on the wreath for 'sparkle'. I used red ribbon from my stash for the bow. Also used the branch punch by Martha Stewart for the branches under the bow. Used pop dots under the wreath for dimension. An easy and cheap card with big impact!

This card is on green card stock from the stash. Today I bought a small pad of holiday papers by K&Company and this is the second card I am making from that pad of papers. I used a square punch from Stampin Up and punched out three papers. I then took a piece of white card stock and ran the tape gun across that. I then put the squares randomly on the white paper being sure the edges of the squares were touching. Do not over think this and try to get it perfect---when you do not use a set pattern I think you will notice the quilted 'look' more. I then trimmed the top edge and put it in the Stampin Up Square Lattice embossing folder and used the Cuttlebug to emboss it. Then I used the Spellbinders Label 8 and cut out the quilted piece and the Stampin Up Riding Hood Red paper. I used a stamp from a lot of stamps off of Craigs List for the "Merry Christmas"---it is by Stampin Up and from 1992. Used the SU Riding Hood Red ink for that. I then used a smaller Labels 8 label and cut out the greeting---then sponged the edges. Used three red crystals from the stash for that. The red ribbon is also from the stash and I used a small circle hole puncher to run the ribbon through. This is a simple card---the green printed paper behind the quilted piece is also from the same pack of papers by K&Company. Used pot dots behind the greeting for dimension.
