#2 Easter Eggs Card

This is the second card to the Easter Eggs Card---this is the other half of the circle I used for the bowl. On this card I trimmed the bottom of the bowl so it is flat and mixed up the decorative papers I had used and the card layout. Did not use white cardstock on this one so I think that shows the purples off better. Like this one better and again I was inspired by  "  labullard " on Splitcoast and her "Bowl of Eggs" card.

Easter Eggs Card

This card is on lavender cardstock from SU, white from Walmart, and the green print is also SU. I had seen a card on Splitcoast by  "  labullard " "Bowl of Easter Eggs". Really liked it so I made one myself. I did not have the large oval die she used so I used the largest circle from the Spellbinders Standard Circles set. Then I had to decide which color I wanted the greeting on. Once decided I stamped the greeting on it -- "Happy Easter" is a stamp from 1993 that I just got from Craig's List in a stamp lot. All inks on this card are from SU. I then used an oval punch by Marvy for all the colored papers for the eggs. Then I punched the same amount of white ovals from the white cardstock. Put the white ovals thru the Xyron for adhesive and put the colored eggs on the white ovals. Then sponged ink on the edges of the eggs. For the brown bowl I used SU Choc Chip paper. Cut it out using the Spellbinders circle die. Then put that in the "Forest Branches" embossing folder and ran it thru the Cuttlebug. Once embossed I cut that in half. Used the SU Loop Border punch and cut the loop piece for the top of the bowl. Put green crystals from Hobby Lobby on that. Ribbon is from the stash jar.

2 Step Owl Punch Sheep Card

This card is on black cardstock from Stampin' Up---pink is theirs and white is from Walmart. Used the Cuttlebug for the embossed white piece using the Swiss Dots folder. Sponged the edges using SU black ink. Then onto the sheep---had seen this idea on    http://www.sandystamper.com/   and HAD to make one up--I used a stamp from Inkadinkado for the "Friendship...." greeting. Used SU black ink for that and a red marker for the heart. For the sheep I did not have the black and white swirl paper she used so I had to make my own. I used a swirl stamp from Hero Arts and SU black ink and stamped this all over white paper. Also I do not have the same size scallop circle punch she used for the sheep bodies. I have a shaped circle punch from EK Success so I used that. Punched out my swirled paper I stamped and then sponged the edges of the 'bodies' with SU black ink. For the sheep head I used the 2 Step Owl punch, cutting off the feet, from SU pink cardstock as she instructed. Then sponged on SU Regal Rose ink on the edges of that and also some on her 'cheeks'. Used a small circle punch for the eyes and a marker for the mouth. I then used a 1 3/4 scallop circle punch for the 'wool' on the sheeps' face (by the bows). Again sponged the edges. Legs are cut from scrap black paper. Bows I made from ribbon from my stash. Used pop dots behind the sheep faces for dimension.

Sew Happy Card

This card is for a friend that quilts and she loves red. Used red cardstock from Stampin' Up, white is from Walmart, and the checks are from the scrap file. Used the QuicKutz spool die for the spools of thread and I used the ScorBuddy to put the lines on the spools to look like thread. I used the new Cuttlebug to cut those. I then used stamps from Art Impressions for the two circle words. I used circle punches for those and they were stamped with StazOn black ink. Used the EK Success buttons border punch for the buttons. Used buttton brads from my stash for the circle greetings. The yellow measure trim is from my stash. The sewing machine is a stamp from Hot Potatoes and I used clear VersaMark on that and put black embossing powder on it and  heat set it. Used pop dots behind the circle greetings, the sewing machine, and the spools for dimension.

Thank You Cupcake Card

This card is on Choc Chip cardstock from Stampin' Up. The pink is also theirs. The white is from Walmart and the brown print is from a pad of paper from DCWV. Used the SU scallop punch for the top of the cupcake.  The "Thank You" is a stamp from an Ebay stamp lot I got. This stamp is from StampCraft and I used the SU Choc Chip ink for that. The pink ribbon is from a garage sale and I got that for 5 cents. Made the choc sprinkle dots on the frosting top of the cupcake with a little circle stamp and ink. The flower is made with the SU multi flower punch. Used a silver bead from Hobby Lobby for that. I had seen this cupcake idea on     http://www.sandystamper.com/   and she used all products from Stampin' Up. I do not have all she used so I made the card with what I have on hand. I had to draw out the "heap" of frosting on plain cardstock for a pattern and then cut it out. Other than that this was an easy and quick card to make.

http://www.sandystamper.com/    and really liked it. Do not have all Stampin' Up supplies suggested for making it so I used what I have on hand---drew out the frosting heap, used a three dot stamp for the chocolate sprinkles and I got that stamp from a lot of stamps from Ebay. Used SU Choc Chip ink on that.Used the SU scallop punch for the cupcake paper top. The print paper is from DCWV in a small pad. Hello Card

With all goodbyes come hellos..... Sad to say last night was the demise of my first Cuttlebug machine--sniff, sniff... Husband tried to fix it but when all said and done??? lots of parts in the garbage can.... So coupon in hand off I go to Joanns to buy a new machine this morning.... used a 50% coupon and my gift card from Christmas and I am back in business!! Got home, opened the box and there it was... a large floral embossing folder... So of course I just had to make a card..... Yellow and the pink cardstock are from Stampin' Up. White cardstock is from Walmart. Used the new floral embossing folder for that. I used yellow mesh that I had gotten at a stamp garage sale last year. Used a stamp from Hero Arts "A Warm Hello" and stamped that with SU Green Galore ink. Used a circle and a scalloped circle punch from Hobby Lobby for that. Used a floral stamp from Stampcraft for the floral piece--stamped it with the SU Green Galore and used colored pencils on that. Then used a circle punch for the yellow circles under the yellow crystals. The crystals are from Hobby Lobby. Ribbon is from Joanns. Used pop dots behind the greeting circle and also the floral piece for dimension.

Floral Thank You Card

This card is on green cardstock from Stampin' Up and I used the floral print from Hobby Lobby, pink checked is from Making Memories, and the white is from Walmart. I used a circle punch and the circle scallop punch for the circle greeting which is a stamp from Rubber Soul. The stamp is stamped with green ink from SU. Used sheer ribbon from Michaels. Then used a circle punch for the dark pink circles under the pink crystals and the crystals are from Hobby Lobby. Measured and cut the pink checked paper to allow for the floral paper to be inserted in this. This way it is seamless and looks like a border to the pink floral. I used a stamp from the Stampin' Up "Easy Elegance" stamp set that I just got from Ebay and that was brand new. I used markers to color that---I used a red, dark pink, and lighter pink marker to color the flower and then used a green marker for the leaves and stem. I then lightly misted the stamp and then stamped it for the image. I used scrap darker pink paper for the backing to the flower piece and for the scalloped piece--used a scallop punch from Fiskars for that. Used pop dots behind the flower piece and the circle greeting for dimension.

Bunny in a Basket Card

Card is on green cardstock from Stampin' Up and the yellow is theirs as well. The white cardstock is from Walmart. Used an old method---reinkers and marbles for the white piece with yellow lines on it. Used Spellbinders Label 8 and the Ovals for the bunny piece. The bunny is a stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs that I stamped StazOn Dove Gray ink and colored in with color pencils. The greeting tag is made with the SU Key Tag punch and I used pop dots behind that and the bunny piece for dimension.
