Took a day trip yesterday to Greensboro and my DSD was with me. We shopped at the Reconsidered Goods used craft items store there and I found a lot of new to me items for the craft room and my total was $14.00:
This photo shows the Paper Sweeties Banner stamps with matching dies on the left, a generic card base die under that. I picked up a Heartfelt Creations stamp and die set for $2.00, and the die on the lower left is an older Gears die set also from Heartfelt Creations and that was $1.00. This next photo:
The far left die set is a cake stand and various decoration dies from IO Stamps. The center die set is from MFT (My Favorite Things) and that is their Snowflake Window die set that was $1.00. The far right gold die set is also from MFT and it is a fireplace die set that is a few years old. Standing behind the dies is a pack of the sticker/gems from the Dollar Tree in a larger size and that was 50 cents. This next die was the best of the lot as far as money savings:
This is a 3 piece die set from Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson and I paid $2.00. On the back you can see the original price sticker for $17.99 and this die set is from 2017:
So that was a fun stop .... off to Hobby Lobby as DSD makes vinyl projects and their vinyl was on sale. We left there and headed to the Paper/Crafting Studio and I picked up some new inks and some new dies and stamps.
The Catherine Pooler Swirling Leaves hot foil plate was on sale for 30% off and I also picked up the Fall Leaves hot foil plate from Hero Arts. Also the round ring die from LDRS. Picked up some odds and ends for the craft room as well:
We also ran into Walmart as I wanted to pick up a Wilton rotating cake turntable for stencils so am looking forward to trying that out. I paid $11.96 for the model I got but they certainly had fancier ones to buy as well.... hoping to use that in the next day or two.... We had a yummy lunch at Olive Garden and headed home....
In the mail yesterday came my latest order from A Colorful Life Designs -- I love her holiday stencils for this year but as budget allows I only bought three:
This is her Heart Nose Deer stencil -- I put a piece of gray card stock behind it for the photo. Cute deer and I plan on using it for cards and tags.
This is her Snowflake Grid stencil and I liked it because it is not too busy for a snowflake background.
The last stencil I ordered is her Christmas Postmark stencil:
Certainly a fun day and lots to add to the craft room for projects ahead.... YAY
