Eggs and Ovals Easter Card

Here is a photo of my Eggs and Ovals Easter Card I made for Easter:

Stash or cash -- For this card I recently bought a couple of die sets from the KSCrafts January 2026 release for Easter. I bought their Eggs die set which has a deckled edge egg dies as well as the stitched edge egg dies in the same set:

For this card I wanted to use the eggs die set as the base to my card using the largest deckled edge egg die in the die set for that. I cut and scored a piece of yellow card stock at the top and I put the deckled egg die over the top edge of the folded card to be run through the die cutting machine:

Once die cut I removed the egg die and opened the card base to show it was one piece with the die being placed just over the folded edge at the top for die cutting:

Using the second largest deckled egg edge die I cut out a piece of white card stock for the front of my card. Using a smaller stitched egg edge die from the die set I cut out a piece of yellow and white gingham checked card stock and I cut that at so the checks would be on the diagonal. I used liquid glue to put the checked piece onto the white piece and then put these onto the yellow card base.

Here is the second die I bought from this release:

This is a layering bow die set and there are more bow dies on the back of this but not shown. I used solid and glittered card stock to cut out this bow and I assembled that and put it on the card base using liquid glue. Set this aside.

For the "eggs and ovals" bunny..... I pulled out the Eggs die set from Spellbinders from my stash and using the third smallest die I cut out my bunny body - I did this twice so I would have an extra piece to put behind him to make him more sturdy:

Once his body was die cut I sponged the edges using gray ink. Using a smaller oval punch I punched out two ovals for his feet. Used another size oval and punch out two ovals for his ears. Used a small circle punch and punched out two pink circles for the pads on his feet. Used an old Marvy heart punch for his nose. Sponged the edges of the feet and ear ovals with gray ink and sponged all pink pieces using a light pink ink. Using a coloured pencil I added pink to his ears and used a light pink marker for the toes on his feet. Using liquid glue I put the pink pads on his feet and added the ears and his feet to the bunny. Used a fine black Sharpie marker for his mouth and his eyes. Once he was all assembled I then put the other oval body behind him using liquid glue and he was done.  Put him on the card front using pop dots for dimension:

For the inside of this card I used an older stamp from the stash from Inky Antics for my sentiment:

I stamped that onto white card stock and used a stitched edge egg die from the die set to cut that out:

This is a free standing card so I was happy about that as I wanted the card to be egg shaped rather than the normal rectangle cards I make. Happy to use the "Eggs and Ovals" bunny again as I had used him on other projects in the past and he is easy to assemble.  I put the bunny on my card front using pop dots for dimension and then added pink crystals from the stash for some sparkle on the card front.
