Hot Foiling Waste Pieces

Recently hot foiled BetterPress plates for Christmas projects and when those were all foiled and die cut I then hot foiled the "waste" foil which is the negative foil. Here is a photo of the sentiments I had hot foiled and die cut out:

And then I hot foiled the negative sheets and added them to the pile of sentiments:

So now I have both the sentiments foiled and the negative foiled and will store them altogether for holiday projects ahead:

I also foiled the negative sheets for the BetterPress Snowflake plate:

For the snowflake negative background I used different colour card stocks to foil them on since I am not knowing now what I will be using them for. But I have them ready for cards, tags, or projects ahead that I will be working on. Always happy to use the negative foil pieces as it saves waste but it also gives you a totally different look depending on the colour card stock you use.
