Craftoween #4 Halloween - Styling Ghostie Card

I bought the Spellbinders "13 Days of Craftoween 2025" when it first came out. On YouTube a lot of crafters are making a card/project everyday using the different die sets in order from 1 to 13. I do not have the time to make a new card every day but work on them when I can.... This card uses the die set for day #4 and it is the ghost die set:

I wanted to use pink and black for my card so to show off the details of the ghost die set. Here is my card:

I wanted to use the Spellbinders BetterPress Plate Spiderwebs and I wanted to hot foil that onto black card stock. I looked through my foils and decided to use a medium pink foil on the black card stock. With that foiled I trimmed that piece to the size I wanted for my card front - 4 1/4 x 5. Using this frame die set from my stash I die cut a frame out of the center of the foiled card front piece:

With the frame shape cut out of the spider web black card stock I decided I wanted pink card stock to show around the spider web die cut opening. I cut a piece of light pink card stock to the size of the front of the card (4 1/4 x 5) and picked out a smaller frame die from that frame set and die cut an opening on the pink card stock piece. I laid the spider web piece over the pink piece and I used liquid glue to put them together. Cut and scored a black card stock base at the top. Set these all aside.

I die cut the ghost, layering skirt piece, and banner pieces and put them together. For her under skirt I used light pink vellum to add some pink to her. Put the "BOO" on the banner using liquid glue. Cut a piece of scrap black card stock to put behind her eyes and put that on the back using liquid glue. Decided she needed something else so I went through the Halloween die set stash and found this witch hat from an Elizabeth Craft die set:

Cut her hat out of glittered black card stock. Added a glittered pink band to the hat and a gold buckle and the hat was done. Wanted to make pumpkins for the bottom of the framed piece so I used another Elizabeth Craft die set for those, Hay Ride (no photo), and glittered/foil card stocks.  Wanted to dress her and her pumpkins up so I die cut the flowers from the Spellbinders Faux Embroidery die set by Nichol Spohr. I used glittered card stocks for those and added small pink crystals to those:

With pumpkins die cut, stems and flowers/leaves glued in place, everything was ready to assemble this card. At first I was not sure what I would use as the background for my ghost but then decided I wanted a white background with a soft image on it. Used the Splatter background stamp from Taylored Expressions and a light ink to make this background on a piece of white card stock:

With the white background stamped I trimmed that to size and used liquid glue to put that onto the black card stock base. Put the frames piece over that and the card front was ready for my ghostie. Put her on the card front using tear and tape. Added her witch hat with flower also with the tear and tape. Used liquid glue to add her "BOO" banner. Used tear and tape and put all the pumpkins on the card front at the lower corners to add some sparkle to the card front.

The Spiderweb BetterPress plate I hot foiled with a medium pink foil and IRL you can see the webs have a pink tint to them but this did not show well in the photos:

This photo shows her light pink vellum underskirt as well as the sparkle on the pumpkins:

Fun card to put together and I will be making more Halloween cards using this Craftoween die set kit. I like the details on this ghost - the size, her underskirt, and her arms that can hold the banner or maybe a pumpkin bucket for her Halloween treats. Cute die set and easy to assemble. Here is another photo of this card laying flat and this shows the spiderwebs off:
