Here is a photo of one of the BOO Day treat bags I made for Halloween this year:

To start I wanted the focal point of the bag to be the "Who's There?" cover plate die that I bought on sale last year from CatherinePooler.com. First I hot foiled a spider web plate from Spellbinders using silver holographic foil onto black card stock. With that done then I cut out the "Who's There?" cover plate die on this piece. To back the piece I used a lime green card stock from the stash so all the eyes are lime green and spooky looking. But this is a card sized cover plate so to fill the bag front I put this hot foiled/die cut piece onto white card stock as a frame around it. Then I looked through the stash and found the black and white striped card stock and cut that to size for the front of the bag. Used a lime green card stock print from the stash and cut two strips of that for the sides of the bag front. "boo" was cut out using the Poppy Stamps "Boo Outline" die set and I centered the letter "b" over a small spider frame on the hot foiled piece so it looks like the spider web was made inside the "b". Used two older ghost dies from my stash and cut out the ghosts using glittered white card stock. Put those onto the front of the bag. Wanted something for the top and bottom of the eyes cover plate piece so I used 6 pieces of crepe paper - 3 white and 3 black - and layered those white, black, white, black, etc and with those hot glued together I used fringe scissors and cut the top and bottom of the crepe paper piece from one end to the other. Then used my hands and crumpled these up so they are puffy.
All the treat holders I made for inside this bag are from the stash as are all the card stocks, ribbons, gems, etc.. First I used an older Cheery Lynn Fry Box die set for this treat holder. This is a smaller box and it has a scalloped edge at the top of the fry box"

I used black card stock for all my fry boxes. Hard to see in the photo but I lined the inside back of the fry box using a Halloween printed card stock and I used that same card stock for the rosette on the front of the box. For the rosette I used my favorite rosette die set from Sizzix/T Holtz and I used the scalloped rosette die set. But this is a small box so once I had my rosette strips cut out, and before I began to fold them into the rosette shape, I took the two flat rosette strips to the trimmer and cut off 1/4 the straight edge on each strip - I used two strips for my rosettes as I like them to be full. If I did not cut off the 1/4 then the rosette would be a 2" rosette - too big for this box - so cutting off the 1/4 now gives me a 1 1/2" rosette and that works with this size fry box. With the rosette made I used scissors and cut out a spider web from the spider web tulle from the Dollar Tree from the stash and put this piece on top of the rosette. Then added a glittered ghost made using an old Cuttlebug ghost die. For the "BOO!" that was stamped and cut out using the Halloween label maker die set from Frantic Stamper (She closed her store over the summer). Inside this box is a small holiday printed bag from the Dollar Tree filled with small candies and tied with a piece of twine. Here is another fry box treat holder I made and I added the crepe paper witch broom to that next to the bag of treats:

This taller treat holder is made using the Mama Elephant die set Favor Bag:
This die set is scalloped at the top but I took my die cut bag front and back pieces to the trimmer and cut off the scallops. The spider web bow is the Spider Bow #2 die set from ScrapdivaDesigns.com that I bought a year or so ago. Used black eyelash trim behind the bow and added a black pom pom to the center of the bow. The sentiment is from KSCraft and their Halloween release this year. The rick rack lime green piece at the bottom is from the CatherinePooler.com die set "Rich Rack Strip Dies". These next treat holders:
Box on the left is self closing and it is the die set "3D Double Self Closing Gift Bag" from Scrapdiva Designs. Again added one of the label maker sentiment strips from FranticStamper. Box holder on the right is a milk carton made using the We R Makers Carton Stamp board and I made the medium size. Used various print scraps from the stash to decorate these boxes. Covered a clothespin with washi tape and put a holiday sticker from the stash on that to close the carton.
Last candy treat holder is a printed cellophane bag from the stash and I used the Witch Shoe bag topper die set from ScrapdivaDesigns to close that. These witch shoes are so cute - die set has the small and the larger die set included and I used one of the witch shoes on the front of one of my rosettes:
Fun holiday projects for Halloween but back to Thanksgiving and Christmas projects in this craft room and hoping to use more and more of the stash items....
