Craftoween #7 Halloween - Spellbound Card

Used the #7 die set from the Spellbinders Craftoween Halloween kit for this next Halloween card. Here is the card:

The card base is black card stock cut and scored at the top. Then I cut a piece of light green card stock for the card front to go with the holographic spider web I hot foiled onto white card stock. That hot foil plate is also from Spellbinders and it is an older hot foil plate - Spider Web Background:

Once the white card stock was hot foiled I used the Spellbinders rectangle frames die set and cut out the spider web card front. Used liquid glue to put the white card stock on the green card stock and then put these onto the black card stock base. Set this aside.

Used the Craftoween #7 die set and using scrap card stocks I die cut all the books/pages, ribbon book marks, and candles/flames. Sponged edges of the books to add dimension and used liquid glue to put those together. For the banner in this die set, "Spellbound", I cut this out of black card stock. I used some silver metallique wax by Artalchemy and put a small dab on the craft mat. Tapped my finger in that and tapped it onto the banner piece:

I stacked the books on the card front using tear and tape and added the small ribbon book marks to the books. Used the Craftoween #2 die set and die cut out the skeleton die and black back piece from that set and put those together using liquid glue. Sponged the edges of that and put that next to the books on the card front. Die cut out the candles/wicks and assembled those. Put those on the top of the books using liquid glue and then foam tape behind the top of the candles and wicks for dimension. With those on the card front I added Diamond Stickles to those for some sparkle:

Added clear crystals to the card front. Used a small bug punch from the stash and punched out black mirror card stock and put the bugs on the card front using liquid glue. Here is a photo of the two die sets I used from the Craftoween kit:

Fun Halloween kit from Spellbinders. Each die set is already cut apart and easy to assemble. It does not take long to assemble these die sets for a card/project and great use of stash scraps!
